Job Title: ECS Dock Loader

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ECS Dock Loader to join our team at our Kitchener, ON location. As an ECS Dock Loader, you will be responsible for receiving and shipping inventory according to instruction, which includes manual handling and sorting of product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and ship inventory according to instruction, which includes manual handling and sorting of product
  • Understand the Erb Cold Storage operation and computer system
  • Pick orders for shipping from "picking slips" to meet industry standard goals of 100 cases per hour
  • Locate orders according to slips (freezer); ensure accurate piece count
  • Document order discrepancies when required and pass onto appropriate staff
  • Stage orders on dock to meet shipping deadlines
  • Responsible for inventory control (manual and computer)
  • Shrink wrap orders when required
  • Complete paperwork on orders when required
  • Collaborate with other Cold Storage staff in solving problems
  • Trace product for customers
  • All other duties as required
Requirements:
  • 1 year of forklift experience preferred
  • Experience keyboarding and using computer systems
  • Ability to work independently taking initiative to meet customer demands and loading deadlines
  • Attention to detail required
  • Must be able to read and write in English
  • Comfortable to work within refrigerated and freezer areas
