Strategic Leader for Early Learning and Child Care

The Manitoba Métis Federation, a leading advocate for the rights of Red River Métis people, is seeking an exceptional leader to join their Early Learning and Child Care Department.

Located in Winnipeg, MB, this full-time Director position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Red River Métis children and families.

About the Role:

As Director, you will be responsible for creating, planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the department to ensure that established goals and objectives are accomplished. This includes providing regular reports and updates to the Senior Director, managing administrative, financial, and program aspects of the department, and promoting inter-departmental collaboration on initiatives supporting Red River Métis children and families.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field;
  • Several years' experience in a leadership role with emphasis on program management and operations;
  • Experience and knowledge in early learning and childcare is a strong asset, or the desire and ability to learn;
  • Demonstrated organizational, financial, and administrative management skills;
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills;
  • Knowledge of Red River Métis culture, MMF programs, and services is a definite asset;
  • Ability to travel, valid Manitoba Driver's license with access to a reliable vehicle.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, pension, and vacation.
