Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team at Jardeg-Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing projects from the earliest stages of their life cycle. Your expertise in executing mid-to-large-scale structural concrete work, particularly in water retaining structures, will be invaluable to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in preconstruction services, including site logistics, project scheduling, and design review.
  • Lead site staffing, quality control, sub-trade coordination, and project scheduling.
  • Determine construction methods, materials, equipment, and work schedules.
  • Coordinate work with various crafts, company departments, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain relationships with engineering, estimating, and planning teams to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Monitor site safety programs and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Take an active role in hiring, training, and monitoring field personnel.
  • Assist with project meetings and claim resolution.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of construction experience, with a focus on structural concrete work.
  • Experience in building concrete water retaining structures is essential.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical installations is required.
  • Direct experience with concrete forming systems, temporary works, and engineering applications.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate field execution resources and teams.
  • Comprehension of the complete life cycle of a water/wastewater treatment plant project.
  • Experience managing project field execution up to $25M.
  • Clear understanding of project scheduling and planning principles.
  • Solutions-based attitude and steady job history.

Compensation:

  • $105,000 - $137,500 per annum, commensurate with education and experience.
