About the Role

This is a hybrid position based in Montreal, with a combination of on-site and remote work. As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud strategies, architectures, and solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft components such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, Exchange, SharePoint, System Center, and Azure services
  • Develop and maintain virtualization technologies, including VMware and Citrix
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud vendors and services, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across domains
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop optimized infrastructure designs
  • Ensure architecture meets 'Security by Design' principles, incorporating security controls and measures at the design phase
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline
  • 10+ years of total experience in IT with relevant technologies
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud-related roles, including deployment and management of cloud infrastructure and services
  • 7+ years of experience in deploying and managing virtualization technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with French being an asset
  • Strong ability to learn business rules and comply with both existing and new requirements
