Job Summary
The Nuclear Medicine Department at Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for performing clinical imaging procedures, maintaining a patient-focused environment, and ensuring all procedures are performed according to established protocols and standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical imaging procedures using various equipment and technologies
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to CNSC regulations
- Participate in training programs and research studies to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contribute to an environment that supports clinical excellence and continuous learning
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved training program in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologist of Ontario
- Basic Life Support Certificate (must be current or acquired within 3 months)
- Ability and willingness to work with and teach students
- Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
- Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development
- Membership in the CAMRT/OAMRT preferred
