Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Department at Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for performing clinical imaging procedures, maintaining a patient-focused environment, and ensuring all procedures are performed according to established protocols and standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform clinical imaging procedures using various equipment and technologies
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to CNSC regulations
  • Participate in training programs and research studies to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to an environment that supports clinical excellence and continuous learning

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved training program in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologist of Ontario
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (must be current or acquired within 3 months)
  • Ability and willingness to work with and teach students
  • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment
  • Demonstrated effective communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Evidence of participation in ongoing education and professional development
  • Membership in the CAMRT/OAMRT preferred
