Job Title: Bartender

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Tomas the Cook / Specklebellys pub. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including glassware and draft beer systems.
  • Serve food and snacks to customers, ensuring prompt and friendly service.
  • Supervise food and beverage servers and other staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Provide recommendations on drink selections to enhance the customer experience.
  • Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Collect payment for beverages and operate the cash register accurately.
  • Store and maintain inventory of beverage and food products.
  • Order bar stock and manage inventory levels to minimize waste.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, and draft beer.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
