We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Development Manager to join our team at Broadstreet Properties Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in land development and municipal planning.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development team through all aspects of the design and approval process, from research and site plan coordination to application preparation and deadline management. You will work closely with designers, consultants, and city planners to ensure timely delivery of materials required for approvals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the work of in-house designers and external consultants to assemble site and building plans for projects.
  • Organize and prepare materials required for various development applications, including rezoning, subdivisions, and site plan control.
  • Maintain working knowledge of municipal policies and regulations, including zoning bylaws and local regulations.
  • Work with city planners and administration on all city processes and approvals.
  • Manage external consultants to ensure timely delivery of materials required for approvals.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Urban Planning or Planning/Architectural Technology, Project Management, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Knowledgeable in municipal planning process, including zoning bylaws, statutory plans, policy plans, and technical studies related to development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed research and analytical skills.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.
