Job Title: Drywall Refinisher

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Refinisher to join our team at Paul Davis. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Moving ladders, paint cans, and other painting/mudding equipment.
  • Joining drywall panels using tape and plaster.
  • Repairing cracks and other damage to the drywall panels.
  • Keeping supervisor informed of progress.
  • Ensuring that all equipment and materials are used safely and effectively.
  • Keeping trucks, storage areas neat and clean.
  • Checking inventory, and ordering paint and other supplies when needed.
  • Responsible for educating the customer on products or services and effectively articulate the use and need.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships in the local community.
  • Volunteer non-operational time to related community events.
  • Achieve and remain current in required certifications.
  • Support franchisee and franchisor organizational mission, vision, and value statement.
Requirements:
  • Ability to clearly deliver truth and give certainty when property owners need it most.
  • Proficient with a variety of current technology.
  • Career emphasis on learning and continuing education.
  • Sound planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Valid Driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Relevant experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

The physical environment requires the employee to work in all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having the ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
