About the Role

The Complex Security Account Executive will be responsible for selling Johnson Controls Commercial Security services and technology, including access control, CCTV, digital video recording, and intrusion systems. This is a field sales position requiring frequent travel to customer sites, with the option to work remotely from a home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build new market share by selling to new local commercial customers.

  • Sell additional products and services to existing accounts that present new sales opportunities.

  • Renew existing customer agreements and sell add-ons, amendments, and conversions to meet customer expectations.

  • Identify prospects using lead-generating techniques and maintain productive working relationships with existing customers.

  • Establish call plans and customer follow-up strategies, and consistently apply time and territory management techniques.

Requirements

  • Experience in outside sales, preferably in enterprise-class commercial security systems or other technology.

  • Sales experience in healthcare, industrial, mining, oil, and gas.

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.

  • Available for frequent local travel to customer offices.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $61,300 - $102,400, with a competitive sales commission plan and comprehensive benefits package. For details, please visit our careers page.
