Responsibilities:
  • Study plans and specifications to understand project requirements
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units
  • Sand and finish wood surfaces to a high standard
  • Apply varnish, veneer, or polish to finished products
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Supervise other workers and estimate costs and materials
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture and fixtures
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
Work Environment:

Our workshop is a non-smoking environment, and we provide public transportation options. You will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
