Job Summary

As a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the smooth operation of our retail environment. This dynamic role requires a customer-focused individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner, providing a warm welcome to our store.
  • Assist customers by promoting products and services, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions.
  • Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where necessary.
  • Maintain sales floor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, and setting up and maintaining product displays.
  • Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, and identify high-shrink items.
  • Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, and administer required paperwork and documentation.
  • Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
  • Stock merchandise, pick, and downstock items as necessary, applying product protection when required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong customer service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
