We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Manager to join our team at the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our import compliance programs.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage vendor and sourcing compliance screening, support customs compliance projects, and provide consultation and advice to senior management regarding areas of risk.
To be successful in this role, you will require a minimum of 5 years' experience in trade compliance, as well as a strong understanding of Canada & U.S. customs fundamentals.
Additionally, you will need to have experience with trade management software and internet-based trade compliance programs, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You will work closely with various departments, including Logistics, Legal, FSQA, Sales, and Customer Support, to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing vendor and sourcing compliance screening
- Supporting customs compliance projects such as trade verifications, self-corrections, and duty recovery
- Providing consultation and advice to senior management regarding areas of risk
- Performing other duties as assigned
