About the Role:
Cineplex is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at The Rec Room Square One location in Mississauga. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Take drink orders and serve guests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare and garnish drinks according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the bar area and surrounding environment.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including proper sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of bartending experience preferred.
- Smart Serve certification an asset.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and preparation methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
