Overview

Nova Scotia Health is the largest provider of health services in Nova Scotia, offering a wide range of high-quality inpatient and outpatient services. We are seeking highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologists to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for individuals with a strong client focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team. The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting diagnostic analytical laboratory tests and procedures using appropriate methodologies and quality assurance techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an approved program in Medical Laboratory Technologist, be eligible or licensed with NSCMLT and eligible or registered with CSMLS. They should also possess strong computer software and program proficiency, as well as demonstrated accountability, judgment, and decision-making skills.

Requirements
  • Graduate degree from an approved program in Medical Laboratory Technologist
  • Eligible or licensed with NSCMLT and eligible or registered with CSMLS
  • Strong client focus and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated accountability, judgment, and decision-making skills
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is $30.83 - $37.54 hourly. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
