We work with 1,250 school districts in 39 states and 8 Canadian provinces, carrying approximately five million students in 21,000 schools daily.
About the Position
As a school bus driver with First Student, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school. You will enjoy the support of our industry-leading technology to guide you through your daily routes. You will also prioritize vehicle maintenance by conducting pre and post-trip vehicle inspections. Additionally, you will provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus.
Why Drive with First Student?
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $19.50, with no experience necessary - we train. You will also enjoy a 3.5 hour/day guarantee, with additional hours available through charter route opportunities. Our child ride-along program allows you to bring your child along on your route, and you will not be required to work nights or weekends.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, you must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license for at least 1 year, and undergo and pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks. You should also have good verbal communication skills.
