Job Summary:

The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Operations: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that all customers receive excellent service.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Client focus, flexibility, and team player
Work Environment:

The Shift Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

The Shift Manager will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
