Wood is seeking a skilled Vibration Dynamics Consultant to join our Vibration, Dynamics and Noise (VDN) group. This is a client-facing role that requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in vibration, fatigue, integrity management, reliability, and design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex vibration, fatigue, transients, or integrity related problems for clients.
- Develop and deliver proposals, projects, and client engagements.
- Collaborate with a team of experts in Flow Induced Vibration, Acoustic Induced Vibration, and FEA simulations.
- Travel to client sites as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years industry experience in Engineering consulting firm.
- Strong interest in vibration, fatigue, integrity management, reliability, and design.
- Experience with Finite Element, Acoustical simulation software, hydraulic transient, and SolidWorks.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
