Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to deliver effective patient care.
- Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
- Support an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, quality patient-centered care.
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Minimum 1 year experience in acute care medical and/or surgical nursing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain collaborative working relationships.
- Ability to function effectively in a dynamic environment, exercising independent decision-making and critical thinking skills.
