Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient service and high-quality dishes.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory and reduce costs.
- Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met.
- Maintain a fast-paced environment, working a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional standing for extended periods.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Serving It Safe program certification.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example.
- Flexibility to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
