Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced French & English teacher/tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. as a part-time language coach. The successful candidate will have a strong background in spoken and written French and English, with the ability to teach students up to a Grade 9 level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach French & English language skills to students in a small group setting
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 French core curriculum
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
  • Strong French skills and ability to guide students' understanding
  • Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
