Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Clerk Assistant to join our team at BROOKRIDGE CHARTERED PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANTS INC. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with 37.5 hours of work per week.

About the Role

This role will involve assisting with financial record-keeping, preparing cheques for payroll, and establishing and maintaining various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in calculating and preparing cheques for payroll
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required
  • Assist in preparing income tax returns from accounting records
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
