Job Overview

KTT Holdings Ltd is seeking a dedicated Truck Operator to join our logistics team. This role involves operating and managing the transportation of goods efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload cargo to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Vehicle Operation: Drive and operate straight or articulated trucks for transporting materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect vehicle conditions, including tires, lights, and brakes.
  • Financial Transactions: Handle payments for goods received.
  • Inspection Duties: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage.
Qualifications
  • Licenses Required: Class 3/3F/DF Licence for vehicles with more than 3 axles.
  • Endorsements: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement is mandatory.
Work Environment
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Tools and Equipment: Must have a cellular phone for communication.
Personal Attributes
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities are essential.
  • Work Schedule: This is a permanent position with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
