Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at DCT Chambers Trucking Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer B train and transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer B train to transport goods across various routes
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition
  • Load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of the vehicle and its equipment
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information regarding vehicle status and cargo
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and other measures
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
