Laundry Attendant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Laundry Attendant to join our team at Pomeroy Lodging. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a clean and comfortable stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the laundry room and throughout the hotel.
• Prepare guest linens and ensure they are "picture-perfect" for optimal first impressions.
• Track maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment and keep an updated inventory of laundry supplies.
• Respect guest property and privacy, adhering to lost and found procedures on all items found in guest rooms and public areas.
• Understand and practice all emergency procedures for the hotel.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry, or in a hotel is an asset.
• Proficient in English.
• Attention to detail and pride in a job done well.
• All applicants MUST have own transportation, public transit is not available to our location.
• All applicants MUST have open availability across both weekends and weekdays.
