We are seeking a skilled Master Masonry Technician to join our team at ARCO Masonry & Const. Inc.

Job Overview

This is a permanent position offering 40 hours of work per week. As a Master Masonry Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units, as well as constructing and installing prefabricated masonry units.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the field and hold certifications such as Bricklayer Trade Certification and Bricklayer Red Seal Certificate.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
  • Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Bricklayer Trade Certification
  • Bricklayer Red Seal Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
