**What you will be doing**:
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of damage and estimate repair costs.
- Collaborate with body shops, mechanics, and other professionals to gather accurate information regarding repair procedures and costs.
- Analyze and review repair estimates, ensuring they align with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, claims adjusters, and other stakeholders to provide updates on the claims process and address any inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, estimates, and communication with stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, repair techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance appraisal accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
**What you bring to the team**:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Claims Appraiser.
- Autobody Technician certification is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures, parts, and labor costs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with appraisal software and MS Office Suite.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for on-site inspections when necessary.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and empathy.
