Job Title: Occupational & Physical Therapist Assistant

Join our team at Health Careers in Sask as an Occupational & Physical Therapist Assistant. This part-time regular position is available at the Biggar & District Health Centre.

Job Summary:

As an Occupational & Physical Therapist Assistant, you will assist with treatment programs and application of therapeutic modalities under the direction of a Registered Therapist. Your goal will be to restore, maintain, and/or enhance the level of functional independence and quality of life of clients/patients/residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with treatment programs and application of therapeutic modalities under the direction of a Registered Therapist.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve treatment goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, patients, residents, and healthcare team members.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Occupational/Physical Therapist Assistant diploma (OTA/PTA).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license, where required.
