Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational & Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Registered Therapists in the development and implementation of treatment programs to enhance patient functional independence and quality of life.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities and techniques to promote patient recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and support.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Occupational/Physical Therapist Assistant (OTA/PTA) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license (where required).
  • Laser Certification (where required).
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: $27.990 to $30.000 (3-step range).
  • Part-time regular position with 0.5 FTE.
  • 112 hours per 6-week rotation.
  • Travel required.
