As a Senior IT Compliance Auditor, you will act as a trusted consultant responsible for evaluating and enhancing ATS' IT environment to ensure that data, processes, and systems operate accurately, efficiently, and securely in alignment with the organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct IT audit projects with a primary focus on SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance, while also supporting various operational initiatives using established IT auditing standards within the Corporate Internal Audit (IA).
- Develop, implement, test, and assess IT internal controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Execute IT-related audit engagements and additional operational projects adhering to established IT auditing standards.
Areas of Focus
IT audit procedures will encompass:
- Cybersecurity (CYB)
- IT Infrastructure (INF)
- IT Application Controls (ITACs)
- Conduct IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC) testing, including those related to SOX compliance, making necessary adjustments based on new information and identified risks.
- Prepare and review audit documentation in accordance with audit standards and internal audit protocols.
- Conduct follow-up procedures to ensure that appropriate audit evidence is obtained, validated, and utilized for testing controls in a timely manner.
Reporting and Analysis
- Draft clear, concise, and constructive audit findings based on factual evidence, severity, and risks, and present these findings to senior management.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify the origins of control deficiencies and provide relevant recommendations.
- Provide regular updates on audit status, control testing results, and any challenges encountered in meeting audit deadlines.
- Mentor and guide junior auditors, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in IT auditing, including SOX audits, either through a firm (IT audit/advisory) or a publicly traded company.
- Bachelor's degree in Business and Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of IT auditing standards and control frameworks such as IIA, COBIT, NIST, CSF, and ISO27001.
- Strong experience in internal audit practices, financial and operational process documentation.
- Proven ability to evaluate internal controls, lead and execute complex audits independently, analyze and solve intricate problems, and conduct thorough research.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency with ACL software (Audit Command Language) or other data analytics tools and the ability to conduct data analysis is an asset.
