About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Team Lead to join our team at Blackline Aluminum Systems. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the software development team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute software development projects, including defining project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication, and encouraging teamwork and knowledge sharing.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that software products meet the required quality standards, through regular testing, quality control, and defect management.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in software development, with a strong background in team leadership and project management.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills in software development, with expertise in programming languages, software development methodologies, and project management tools.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
