Job Summary

EBC Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field/Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards;
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or risks;
  • Collaborate with project managers, site managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination;
  • Manage project documentation and records, including correspondence, submittals, and RFIs;
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations;
  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense tracking;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other external partners;
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of project plans and strategies;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the project manager.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as civil engineering or construction management;
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the heavy civil industry;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Project;
  • Experience with project management software and tools, such as BlueBeam and AutoCAD;
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical design drawings and specifications;
  • Commercial knowledge and experience with contracts is considered an asset;
  • Bilingualism is an asset, but proficiency in English is required.
