Job Title: Travel Industry Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Industry Professional to join our team at Traventions Travel & Tourism. As a Travel Industry Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, recommending suitable travel products, and investigating new travel areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to other financial transactions, such as plane tickets and travel insurance
  • Recommend suitable products to clients
  • Investigate new travel areas, hotels, and other amenities
  • Perform general office duties
  • Attend to cancellations and schedule changes
  • Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing systems
  • Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options, and travel costs

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience in the travel industry an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
