Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, made-to-measure garments and accessories according to customer and manufacturing specifications. This includes fitting, altering, and repairing garments as required, as well as laying out, cutting, sewing, and pressing materials to make hats.

The ideal candidate will have experience in alterations, designing, repair, and tailoring, with a strong focus on manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination. They will also possess excellent client focus, flexibility, and judgement skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating custom garments and accessories according to customer specifications
  • Fitting, altering, and repairing garments as required
  • Laying out, cutting, sewing, and pressing materials to make hats
  • Designing patterns to fit measurements and selecting commercial patterns to customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit
  • Marking, cutting, and sewing fabric
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality control
