About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Milliner Specialist to join our team at Sixhats Apparel Ltd. As a Milliner Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, made-to-measure garments and accessories according to customer and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make made-to-measure garments and accessories according to customer and manufacturing specifications
• Fitting, altering, and repairing garments as required
• Laying out, cutting, sewing, and pressing materials to make hats
• Operating sewing machines or sewing by hand
• Selecting and modifying commercial patterns to customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit
• Designing patterns to fit measurements
• Marking, cutting, and sewing fabric

Requirements:

• Manual dexterity
• Attention to detail
• Hand-eye co-ordination
• Ability to distinguish between colours
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking
• Bending, crouching, kneeling
• Physically demanding
