Job Summary
Biscuits Leclerc Ltée is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team in Ontario. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for representing our iconic brands in grocery stores and mass retail channels, promoting our products to customers, and ensuring sales and merchandising objectives are achieved in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trusting relationships with assigned clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Build and stock product displays, install point-of-sale (POS) materials, and validate compliance with planograms, product distribution, and in-store price conformity.
- Ensure proper product rotation on shelves, resolve out-of-stock issues, and actively participate in introducing product innovations in stores.
- Manage direct delivery clients, identify new business opportunities, and evaluate the territory to identify market trends.
- Communicate relevant information to the team, such as competition, price accuracy, promotions, and effectively use the tablet and internal sales tools (CRM).
Requirements
- Hold a high school diploma and relevant experience as a merchandiser/sales function in the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry.
- Minimum computer skills required, with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office suite applications.
- Ability to act in accordance with the culture and values of Biscuits Leclerc Ltée, including planning, organization, and prioritization of daily visits.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, establish business connections, and gain client trust while offering professional service and a positive representation of Biscuits Leclerc Ltée.
- Agility to react favorably and proactively to changes, new information, and seize opportunities to turn them into opportunities.
- Ability to communicate, convince, and persuade others to gain their support or endorsement for ideas presented.
- Promotes teamwork, has a good physical condition, possesses a valid driver's license, and has access to reliable WIFI at home.
- Must live within the assigned territory.
