About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at Max Snow and Mow Ltd. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Utilize your knowledge of horticulture to maintain the health and appearance of our trees and plants.
  • Cut Grass: Operate lawn mowers and other equipment to maintain our grassy areas.
  • Rake and Collect Refuse: Remove debris and litter from our outdoor spaces.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Ensure our outdoor areas are free from trash and debris.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of our outdoor spaces.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Help to establish new grass and plants in our outdoor areas.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Use your knowledge of horticulture to maintain the health of our plants and trees.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Ensure our equipment is in good working order to maintain our outdoor spaces.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Utilize your knowledge of equipment operation to maintain our outdoor spaces.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
