School Service Worker – BPES – La Ronge, SK

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Service Worker to join our team at Bell's Point Elementary School in La Ronge, SK. As a key member of our support services team, you will work collaboratively with students, families, and community agencies to provide targeted support and interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Identify students who require additional support and develop strategies to address their needs
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and community agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Provide life skills training and behavior management support to students
- Make referrals to partner agencies and identify barriers to support
- Engage in regular follow-up calls and home visits with students and families
- Post-secondary diploma in Mental Health and Wellness or equivalent
- Good understanding of working with children and youth with diverse needs
- Knowledge of First Nations and Métis cultures, traditions, and family systems
- Experience working with children and youth, and those transitioning into adulthood
- Professionalism in areas of punctuality, documentation, organization, and phone/email responsiveness
- Valid driver's license and ability to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record, Vulnerable Sector Check, and SGI Driver's Abstract
