Job Summary:We're seeking a highly skilled Head Chef Assistant to join our culinary team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. You'll also be involved in inspecting kitchens and food service areas, maintaining inventory records, and cleaning kitchen and work areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods according to recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, maintain inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, and perform general cleaning duties as needed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring timely ordering and restocking of necessary supplies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with chefs, servers, and other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related role.
- Certifications: Possess a Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Language: Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
