We are seeking a highly skilled Hedge Fund Manager to join our Accounting Policy and Procedures Group. The ideal candidate will implement Hedging Strategies under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to ensure the Bank qualifies eligible derivatives for hedge accounting treatment.

The incumbent will contribute to the overall success of the group by managing tight month-end close, reconciling, analyzing, and communicating hedge accounting results. They will also be responsible for preparing information for quarterly and annual financial disclosure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage tight month-end close by reconciling, analyzing, and communicating hedge accounting results.
  • Prepare information for quarterly and annual financial disclosure.
  • Remain current with emerging industry best practices for hedge qualification through research and critical reading of articles issued by regulatory bodies and industry associations.

Requirements:

  • Self-driven, analytical, and collaborative individual with problem-solving, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of finance and financial products, including various derivatives.
  • Post-secondary degree in Finance/Accounting/Business with a minimum of 4 years industry experience.
