Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our educational institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the premises and organize cleaning tasks according to a schedule established in collaboration with your supervisor.
  • Perform maintenance on cleaning devices and equipment, and order necessary materials and supplies.
  • Prepare classrooms and spaces, move and repair furniture, and assemble and install equipment.
  • Conduct basic inspections of lighting systems, heating, ventilation, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers, and perform minor or temporary repairs.
  • Ensure adequate security against theft or fire, and may be required to coordinate and supervise work performed by other employees.
  • May be required to lift loads up to 25 kg and use a computer and various software necessary for the performance of duties.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in maintenance or facilities work an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
