Environmental Services Sales Team Leader

The Inside Sales Supervisor role is a key position within the Tomlinson Group of Companies, overseeing the inside sales team and driving revenue growth for the company’s environmental services division.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth for the company’s environmental services division, working closely with the GSM and other key stakeholders.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of inside sales representatives, providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to ensure team success.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and prospects to drive sales growth, including managing strategic accounts.
  • Pricing Strategies: Collaborate with the GSM and other key stakeholders to develop pricing strategies and ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain reporting tools to track sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Sales Training: Provide training and support to other members of the sales team on sales techniques, cold calls, and product knowledge.
  • Industry Knowledge: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the environmental services sector, including customers and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Education: University or college education is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in inside sales, with a focus on the environmental services sector.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the environmental services sector, including market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of achieving results in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Software: Strong proficiency with Salesforce and pricing software.
  • Languages: Bilingual is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Account Management: Manage an existing number of accounts.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Salesforce and various Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Cold Calling: Experience with cold calling customers.
