Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Clinician, you will be responsible for providing primary therapeutic, case management, and mental health and substance use support services for assigned clients.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise and passion for helping others to our Acute Care department. You will work under the administrative direction of the Team Lead/Clinical Practice Lead/Designate and be responsible for providing services in accordance with care plans agreed to by the inter-professional clinical team, the individual, and family.
Responsibilities- Provide primary therapeutic, case management, and mental health and substance use support services for assigned clients.
- Work in hospital, residential, or community settings as required.
- Collaborate with the inter-professional clinical team to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Baccalaureate degree in a mental health and substance use related discipline.
- Two years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
