Job Summary

RITZ CABINETS LTD is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, Quick Books, and Sage Accounting Software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
