Job Title: Accounting Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Northsite Contracting Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash flow management
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial reports
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
