Position Overview

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering is seeking applications for a visiting faculty position at the assistant professor level.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Delivering undergraduate and graduate courses within the chemical engineering curriculum.
  2. Managing an increased course load beyond the standard expectations.
Employment Terms and Compensation

Duration: Two years.

Salary: Compensation will align with the assistant professor salary scale, starting at $94,588.

Benefits: The University offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes long-term disability, basic life insurance, supplementary health coverage, a pension plan, and optional life insurance.

Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, University of Ottawa.

Qualifications

Education: A Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field is required.

Experience: Candidates should demonstrate a strong teaching background with several undergraduate courses and possess excellent communication skills in English or French. Bilingualism is considered an asset.
