We're currently hiring for a Medical Radiation Technologist II position in our Northern Incentives Program. This position is posted as 1.0 FTE, but we are open to adjusting the FTE to suit the needs of the right candidate. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place, which is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $83,000, based on industry standards and the cost of living in Northwest Alberta. As a Medical Radiation Technologist II, you will perform specialized technical radiological imaging examinations on patients for the purpose of disease and pathology diagnosis.

You may also perform specialized diagnostic imaging procedures for Physician/Radiologist review, interpret physician requisitions, and assist with the care and maintenance of imaging equipment.

To be eligible for this position, you must have completion of a diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist program. You should also be actively registered or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT).

Additionally, you'll need to have current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider certification. We also require IV Certification and CT experience with CTIC is considered an asset.
