Job Overview

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care at our healthcare facility. Under the direction of the Charge Technologist or Designate, you will be responsible for performing routine and emergency diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment.

Your primary duties will include assisting in the general operation of the department, maintaining a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines, and ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs and standards set by Accreditation. You will also contribute to functions conducted in accordance with the Mission and Values of Shared Health, current policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and emergency diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment.
  • Assist in the general operation of the department, maintaining a safe environment and ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve departmental efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Medical Radiography from an accredited program.
  • Minimum three years recent related work experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience an asset.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required.
