About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team at Beauty Destination Spa and Esthetics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Style Hair: Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Shampoo and Treat Hair: Shampoo customers' hair, and provide other hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting.
  • Beard and Mustache Services: Shave and trim beards and mustaches, and provide scalp conditioning massages.
  • Supervise and Train: Supervise and train other hair stylists and staff members, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to company standards.
  • Color and Style: Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair, and apply hair extensions.
  • Wig and Hair Piece Services: Clean and style wigs and hair pieces, and cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
  • Client Consultations: Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences, and perform receptionist duties as needed.
Work Environment

As a Hair Stylist at Beauty Destination Spa and Esthetics, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of clients. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
