Job Title: Registered Early Childhood Educators – Supply List

We are seeking qualified Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) to join our team as supply list educators in the Waterloo Catholic District School Board.

About the Role:

As a RECE, you will be responsible for providing high-quality educational programs and services to students in Kindergarten to Grade 6. You will work collaboratively with other educators to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum-based activities, and provide supervision and age-appropriate programming for students.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with classroom educators and other designated staff to plan and implement the Early Learning Kindergarten and Extended Day Programs
  • Provide supervision and age-appropriate programming for students registered in grades Kindergarten through Grade 6
  • Perform related administrative functions as required, such as attendance and billing in the Extended Day Program
  • Communicate with parents and school staff as appropriate
  • Facilitate nutrition breaks
Requirements:
  • Member in Good Standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
  • Copy of Early Childhood Education diploma
  • Current cover letter and resume
  • Two (2) professional references (one reference must be immediate supervisor)

We offer a competitive rate of pay, ranging from $21.87 to $28.59 per hour, based on years of experience. We also provide a shift allowance for qualified RECEs in permanent or long-term assignments.
