We are seeking a dedicated Care and Support Specialist - Empowering Individuals with Disabilities to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to overcome challenges and barriers, celebrate successes, and navigate good and bad days.

The ideal candidate will possess adaptability, patience, a good sense of humor, positivity, and creativity. They will also have empathy, warmth, a strong community connector, passion for social justice and human rights advocacy, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $17.50-$20.55 per hour
  • Full-time, permanent employment with 70 hours bi-weekly
  • Mondays to Fridays, with flexible schedules to accommodate individual needs

Requirements
  • No experience required, but experience, education, or training in the Disability Sector will be considered an asset
  • Core competencies: advocacy, building relationships, championing change and innovation, facilitating growth and development, inclusive leadership, problem-solving and decision-making, resilience, resource management, strategic thinking, valuing EDI (equity, diversity, and inclusion)
  • Valid Manitoba Class 5F License and access to a vehicle, willingness to transport individuals supported
  • Clear Adult and Child Abuse Registry and satisfactory Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector
